Description:
An employee who is well-versed in performing supplier evaluations before making a purchase as well as visiting shops, schedule online meetings, and examine products along with a cost-benefit analysis. Employee must also possess a deep understanding of their employer’s needs and must be able to judge how the supplier in question meets those needs. Must also know how to negotiate with suppliers including setting delivery amounts and a time-frame for delivery, maintaining meticulous records of each purchase, and tracking when each order was shipped out, and when the order was received.

• Education: 4 years bachelor in any related degree
• Softwares: Microsoft Office
• Broad knowledge of lighting products and pricing
• Ability to calculate
• Conducting comparative analysis of potential suppliers
• Building relationships with potential suppliers and other industry professionals at trade shows
• Analyzing financial and budget reports to determine negotiation budget
• Negotiating financial and logistical details with suppliers
• Using organization skills to maintain meticulous purchasing, shipping, and receiving records
• Deliver high level of customer service
• Experience in lighting and architectural fields

Lighting Designer
Description:
An employee who is experienced in designing and developing lighting design concepts for diverse projects. Must know how to represent lighting design concepts with the help of specialized computer-aided software and translate lighting concepts into lighting layouts and specifications for all lighting fixtures. The employee must also evaluate and implement all lighting systems to ensure customer satisfaction and understanding of lighting control systems.
Qualifications Needed:
• Education: Bachelors degree in Lighting Design or any related field (Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, etc).
• Employment: Full-time
• Minimum 5 years of experience in lighting design
• Experience in luminaire construction, design, maintenance, efficiency, and optical characteristics.
• Knowledge of the basics of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and construction.
• Prepare design layouts, fixture schedules, specifications, and calculations.
• Proficient with Dialux or AGI32
• Proficient in AUTOCAD
• Proficient in Revit.
• Sketchup and 3D Max a plus
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) is a plus
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
